Alone in the house

Blurb of this story: The Story of a girl name Shruti and her struggle to become a successful physicist inspite of being castigate by everyone. But she doesn’t give up and lit up the gloom with her hard work. Her incredible work appreciates by many critics and is being applause by  renowned physicists and cosmologists all around the world.

Chapter-I

A shimmering light falls on my eyes and I find myself in the uncanny world. Is this a world or an imagination? What am I seeing? Is this a dream?

“Sumit woke up. This is not what I am thinking. He ponders. Let’s find out what I do today. Go to take his shower and then prepare himself for breakfast. After recovering from that terrifying dream; a dreadful moment is waiting for him; he does not aware what will happen to him as today is Sunday and he wants to splurge himself in music and writing. As he starts to write; out of the blue someone knocks the door.

“Come in, the door is not closed” said Sumit

“Hello, Sumit. How are you?” asks Andrea

“I am fine and what about you? So, early you are here. What happened, everything fine” asks Sumit

“You forget why I am here?” asks Andrea

Sumit ponders and said, “Yes, you are here for our project on science fiction writing. Sorry for my oblivious behaviour”

“So, what yours plan for our project, Andrea?”Asks Sumit. As you know, I am free today and need something creative and different story for our science fiction writing.

“Andrea takes the paper on the table and sits on the sofa, and then imagines the story about their science fiction. But out of the blue, what if we write on a social life story about a girl who lives in a poverty and one day will become the successful person?”

“That’s great Andrea but what we will write in this project? asks Sumit

“Life of a creative student who alters the history of the world” replies Andrea

“Let’s start then” replies Sumit

“Journey of a girl who lives in poverty but has dreams to alter the world with her mathematical equations. Her name is ‘Shruti’ and a student of class 12th standard and her final exams are coming but still finds herself in trouble”

“It’s raining outside the home, filthy floors and grubby roads outside the house. She doesn’t have any clue to remain inside the home. She has to attend the examination but her puny and pathetic mother wants her to go fast to reach the school in the examination centre so as to attend the examination. She doesn’t have father, her father perished last year and she doesn’t have any source of income sync she is writing an articles and playing guitar in various local stages. That guitar is the gift by father to her and writing skills also is in her inheritance when she was only 5 years old. Tears come out from her eyes, mother comes from behind but she remains quiet and said what if I don’t have enough resources like others. My life and my dedication are my true passion and my gift by nature. I will go and attend the examination.

Blessed by her mother, she leaves for the examination centre. In the interim, with filthy shoes covered with sludge, each drop of rain falls on her face, a shimmering grin, infinite consecrated extols, every glitch in her path exasperates her but her fortitude and audacity defeat all the hurdles in her path.

Reach the examination centre. She is fortunate that she is in time and is not tardy. My life and my dedication are my true passion and my gift by nature. But she has to do a part time job as she wants to assist her mother and the financial condition of her home. Her mother is a waitress in the restaurant and almost spends her whole day in her job, and Shruti doesn’t tell her mother that she is playing guitar as well as writing articles for magazines. She doesn’t do this because she doesn’t want to hurt her mother as her mother told her that she wouldn’t do any job until she is doing a job in the restaurant and concentrate on her studies.

Two weeks later, Shruti is busy in writing articles for the magazines. One day, she is returning to her home from the freelancer company where she is writing articles for the magazines. She got the news of the result of 12th board which has been declared by the board. She is excited as well as anxious about the result. She opens the website of the school board on her device and then put her enrolment and sees the result. Totally baffled what she sees as her overall result percentage is above 84 percent but one subject which is the subject of cosmology she fails in this subject. She knew this will happen and now is in trouble. She knows her mother also got this news, and she will ask her to tell the today’s result. With teary eyes, she is the way to her home. Open the gate, entered in the home and find complete hush in the home.

“Are you in the home?” said Shruti. She knows her mother is in home today, she was not going to the restaurant due to her flimsy health. There is no response from her mother. The panic situation creates in the mind of Shruti. She rushes to the kitchen as she thinks perhaps her mother is busy with her work so why she is not responding. And what she sees her mother falls onto the floor with blood flowing from her mouth and is in dire condition. She rushes to her and shouts “Mom, are you fine, what happened to you? She is not responding. She immediately has a glass of water and leisurely lob on her face but her eyes are closed and still she is not in conscious state.

She is in trouble, researching the medicines as her mother took usually in the day time but there is no way to feed through her mouth as she had a blood vomit from her mouth. She immediately calls the doctor who lives 2 km away from her house. Gazing to the doctor and the doctor comes, seeing her mother in the bad condition. Figure out what is the problem that caused her to vomited blood from her mouth. After checking her mother, he finds her mother dead due to the cancer. He (doctor) doesn’t think that this is apposite to tell Shurti about her mother’s death. But he knows Shruti is not an infant so he decides to tell her.

Dr. Albert says “Shruti, it’s hard to tell that your mother was suffering from cancer and she died due to this disease. I am sorry”

After listening these words, she finds herself in a world of seclusion, can’t control on her emotions, tears come out from the eyes, yearning is explicitly seen for her mother, she cuddles her mother in her arms without looking to doctor or here and there. Words wane from her mouth; she whispers just like a flower that was in infant days when born slowly and steadily from its root. Doctor today I haven’t lost my mother but my world also. I have no other option to live in this world where I lost my family and everything which I loved so much. What I do now, I am speechless, where I go, where I live, where I breathe, where I imagine, where to find my mother and father? I lost everything doctor.

Dr. Albert, “I know and understand you are in twinge and you are torment from the lost of your mother and your father, but life never stops. Life is what it teaches you how to expand like universe and how to tranquil like space without being whinge to the creator. Creator what we say God is just a sympathy and solace for humans but the fact is that we ourselves are our creator and our destiny is in our hands and in our thoughts. Shruti don’t give up your life still wants you and this entire universe needs your contribution”

Chapter-II

“I failed in my cosmology subject. I feared what if this news was told by me to her? There are no mother, no father, nothing which I tell this news? I am hapless, and failure in my life doctor. I will not do anything indeed”said Shruti

Heart-rending day has gone and 1 year later. She again appears in the examination for the cosmology subject as her previous percentage is 84 percent. She gives the exam successfully with the hard fought journey in the last 1 year. She doesn’t forget her mother’s demise but moves ahead in life without stopping her life. She gives the exam successfully with the hard fought journey in the last 1 year. He stands second in her district, and what she achieves, gives the entire credit to her mother, father and her teachers sync she also research on the cosmology’s biggest complicated topic ‘What is space and how it works?’ select in the journal of scientific research for cosmology and space. She decides to continue her research and her studies and being selected in the Indian Journal for Cosmology and Space. She has to attend the conference and is very excited. After being invited by the Indian Journal she gets admission in the Sir Ramanujan University for the integrated programme where she will study the bachelor as well as masters degree in science as she is a science student.

She works day and night to study hard and cracks every hurdle in her life. A quantum leap in her life day by day and she successfully completed her graduation degree. She is the topper of her class but still thinks marks don’t matter what matters is creativity, imagination, crazy ideas, hard work, determination and how you mould your life. She doesn’t live in her old house where her mother’s memories renaissance the love and solace in Shruti’s mind. She wants to go to her house but unfortunately she can’t, however, she wants to stay in the other city ‘Delhi’ out of her home town ‘Jammu’.

One day, Ramaunjan University organized a research competition where she also participates. The competition is based on the theoretical physics and mostly concern with the cosmology. The subject in this topic is perplexed and nevertheless, it is never accepted by any research organization and journals in the world. The subject on which the competition is organized is ‘Space’ and one has to show what space is and how it works? But apart from Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, one has to bring new and creative idea of his , her own and proposed a new model for the space time. Shruti is excited and send her proposal for this competition, she takes 2 months for this research as University already announced the date of this competition and so many students and scholars, professors and doctorates participated in this research. As Shruti knew she worked on this topic since her adult days and believe her theory will help the whole world and assist people to understand the future of science and humans in it even it will assist common people to live bravely and puts questions to the government without being biased and this research will help them to ask on various aspects about their wide-ranging life where they struggle because common people need brawny economy, food, shelter, income, employment, creativity, innovation and alternation in their society as her research for science is like an elixir and for common people it works like a weapon for them against the nutty government and the other leaders in their perspective countries. She knows this is not the war against any government in the world but is the new beginning of the current as well as new generation. Even she aware current generation and mentioned in her research’s conclusion “science is good even equations we are solving whether complex or candid are good but we have to find the way to stop the odium in the world. She says, “We have to use science as an era where we assist people and make a better world; here she doesn’t use ‘will’ because she believes ‘will’ sometimes weaken our thoughts so as to think and work on it from today and the moment where we are living. She doesn’t know the consequence of her research as the research is on the ‘Space’ she wrote on space and gave her complex equation but in the conclusion she mentioned these lines also, perhaps, this would not help her to win the competition. Though, after the submission of the research article she also mentioned why she wrote this article and what is the reason behind this research. Few weeks later, the result of the competition is declared and the winner is the Dr. Amit and the second winner is the Professor Rahul, and the third winner is the Shruti. The results are declared in the conference hall where every members and students of the colleges congregate. Though, after the submission of the research article she also mentioned why she wrote this article and what is the reason behind this research. The Vice Chancellor of the University delivers a speech where he appreciates the work by all the students, scholars, professors and doctorates. But he emphasizes the first three winners. After appreciating the first two winners; he calls Shruti on the stage and wants her to speak about her research and also those lines written by her in the conclusion. Shruti rushes to the stage and begins to deliver her speech. Vice Chancellor tells her to speak about her conclusion not about her research. She stuns and stares to the Vice Chancellor and says,

“Sir, I am here to discuss on my whole research how can I speak on conclusion only?”

“Speak what I am saying” asks VC

Shruti sighs and speaks,“I told about the future generation, common people, economy, food, shelter, creativity, innovation and the advantage of my research”

“Is this an arts competition or a politics competition?” Are you making us dupe and think we all are out of our minds?” said VC

“I thought this was right, and I wrote” said Shruti

“This whole cosmology is not based on your philosophy Shruti. We read your research article and the mathematical segment; it’s really good but not enough good to impress us. But, we thought your research is also beneficial for our new scholars so why we thought you are able to receive this medal and prize” said VC

“So you share my research in between scholars that’s great but sorry I am not here to share my thoughts without dissemination it to the world” said Shruti

“Your research is not for the world it’s devastating. Give credit to us that we choose you the winner otherwise you could be eliminated from this research. Your research shows your lack of ‘Know-how’ even you are on the verge of your M.Phil degree; think what if you will not get this degree?” VC murmurs

Shruti gazes to the VC callously and said, “Never expected this from you”

“Speak to the listeners there. What I wrote is not off beam and I am still on my words. I will not alter my decision and without any trepidation and menace, I will move ahead in life” said Shruti. Everyone there appreciates the words of Shruti and the voices come from the audience, “We will always with you Shruti what you wrote doesn’t matter. Your words and your statement in the research paper is incredible and we will support you always”

“She again looks to the VC and said, “The creativity never resides in your anarchical power but resides in the thoughts of optimistic and brawny voices”

Her speech makes her popular in the university and even she has been awarded as scholar where she completed her M.Phil degree. She doesn’t know what will happen with her as her research article is also published in the foreign journals for cosmology and space research. Her research on space becomes useful for physicists, cosmologists and mathematician to solve the mystery of the space time and social media encourages her work and her valour in her university where she delivered a burly speech. She now becomes a world celebrity in the field of cosmology as well as in the field of social service. She discovers numerous theories on space time and her multifaceted equations help scientific community to move ahead in the field of cosmology. Even she describes a new term ‘socio-science’ where she aware everyone about the significance of ‘socio-science’. She moves from the Sir Sir Ramanujan University to the Sir Farday University where she appoints as an assistant professor in the department of cosmology, but she doesn’t want her pupils to study theories in the classroom; she wants that her pupils will able to accept the reality of the world and move ahead in life without complaining to others for their failure. She wants everyone to define their destiny and nevertheless never give up their life even in the difficult situation. She is delivering a lecture to her pupil and remembers her mother’s thoughts when her mother told her not to work anywhere as she will feed and support in her journey. Her eyes filled with tears and pupil in the classroom stares to Shruti. Suddenly one of the pupils stands and says,

“Mam, why tears in your eyes? I and here in this classroom not this classroom but the whole world read your story some on social media and some in newspapers and in books. What you faced and struggle still inspiring us and make us become like you. You are a living icon; don’t know why I am saying this but you is a role model for everyone. My financial condition and my life both are in not good, but I learnt from you that life is not for surviving only but to work hard to splinter your obstacles in life and delineate your own destiny and bring something new in the world. Everyone in the classroom stands and applause the words of the girl and Shruti also do this.

Shruti becomes a brainwave for everyone, and she continues to serve the world with her shimmering and creative thoughts that will inspire the future generation and that will never end.

“Hey! Do you like this story Sumit?” asks Andrea

“This is poignant for our project, but I guess this will work” replies Sumit. But what is your inspiration for writing such kind of short stories and what you inspire from protagonist Shruti in this story?” asks Sumit

“I learn what is happening in life is not completely mayhem but it literally depends on our hard work and our positive thoughts as what Shruti does in this story and why I write this. The reason is everything that happened in this story was happened with me” replies Andrea

“What?” Sumit dazes
